One student was in for a big surprise when he walked down to the gymnasium for the annual Honors Assembly at Tinley Park High School. Trevor Rolette was aware that he would be receiving several awards at the assembly, but he wasn’t aware that Herissa Ledesma had something even bigger planned for him. Waiting on the stage, in front of the entire school, Herissa stood with a few friends and a sign that read, “Turnabout Trevor?” When Trevor entered the gym, his eyes went wide and he raced up the steps of the stage where Herissa asked him to attend the school’s annual Turnabout dance with her. His answer was yes and the students applauded his decision. The winter dance is called Turnabout because the girls are expected to ask the boys to attend instead of keeping with tradition.
