The victims in the beatings were neo-Nazis? I have never heard that before. Does Patch have new information that other media outlets do not?

"Man Accused in Child Porn Case Gets Continuance"

Why? Continuance is good for those who can't afford to pay speeding and/or parking tickets, sure, but, for this...?

You do not get a continuance because you can not pay a fine. When you are told to pay a fine, you court case is over and no continuance would be needed. A payment schedule or some other arrangement would be what you could request.
A continuance means that you need more time to properly prepare your defense. Perhaps his lawyer needed more time or was ill on the court date. There a a variety of reasons for a judge granting a continuance.
That being said, if he is guilty of the charges, I hope the judge throws the book at him.

KGB were the state police from the former USSR. I don't think I'd want them securing schools. Coffee* And the woman was 79 years old. Not really the definition of ditz. In this country everyone is entitled to a fair trial. It's not the lawyers fault they are assigned to hired to defend someone. Blame the Constitution.
