Athlete of the Week: Tinley Park Football in Good Hands with Anderson

Tinley Park senior wide receiver Eldridge Anderson continues to confound opponents in the secondary and make big plays for the Titans.

Despite playing on a tender a leg, Tinley Park wide receiver Eldridge Anderson refused to come out of the game in the Titans' 44-27 homecoming victory over Evergreen Park on Friday night.

Eldridge hooked up with quarterback Kyle Sheridan four times for 59 yards and a touchdown. He had an incredible grab (see the video) on a third-and-long that helped seal the game for the Titans. A few plays later, Sheridan hit Eldridge in the end zone for 17 yards and a touchdown.

Anderson made the grab over several Evergreen Park defenders. For his efforts, he is recognized today as the Patch Athlete of the Week for Tinley Park.

The Titans (4-0) travel to Lemont Friday for a matchup with the undefeated Indians. Anderson is one of the biggest weapons on a high-powered Tinley Park offense that will look to solve Lemont's stingy defense.
