Brawl Ensues at Beauty School Graduation
Six were injured and three were taken into custody following a beauty school graduation that turned into a fist fight Sunday night.
Six people were injured over the weekend during a brawl that broke out after a local beauty school graduation, officials said.
The group was treated and released at the scene, according to a news release sent Monday afternoon by the . Three women were taken into custody and charges are pending, police said.

"There are several charges, all related to battery and battery to a police officer," Tinley Park Police Cmdr. Steve Vaccaro said Monday. "... I don't think anything was planned. This was an argument that escalated."
Officers were called around 6:15 p.m. Sunday to the Convention Center where a large cluster of people was involved in a physical fight in the building's entryway, police said.

Police units from several neighboring jurisdictions responded to the scene. Information regarding the trio that was charged wasn't immediately available around 4:20 p.m. Monday.
