Krystal M. Krystal M. Janes, 28, of the first block of Ottawa Court in Justice, charged her with retail theft after she was arrested Wednesday Aug. 22, at Super Kmart, 16300 Harlem Ave. Officers said she was caught trying to steal $575.28  in merchandise from the store. She was reportedly with her 3-year-old daughter at the time.
Rosemary V. LaPage, 59, of the 9700 block of West Ravinia Lane in Orland Park, was arrested around 10 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23, at Super Kmart, 16300 Harlem Ave., and charged with retail theft. Police said LaPage filled her motorized cart with $179.92 before leaving the store without paying.
Sara I. Bustamante, 22, of the 1000 block of Covington in Lemont, was arrested Friday, Aug. 24, at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 19100 S. Ridgeland Ave., and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer. She was reportedly intoxicated and screaming near a gate regarding her boyfriend being ejected from the venue. When police found Bustamante, , they said she was "very vocal" about the fact that she wanted everyone on the theater's security staff arrested. After an officer asked her to leave the theater, she grabbed him or her by the shirt and demanded a badge number.
Kristina M. Vallos, 21, of the 19400 block of Kylemore Lane in Mokena, was arrested around 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Tinley Park Police Department and charged with battery. Police said Vallos admitted to throwing a punch at a 21-year-old Tinley Park woman who was in the J.W. Hollstein's parking lot. She told the cops it was an "over-the-top, roundhouse-style punch" and was arrested.
Michael D. Morris, 22, of the 12000 block of South Lafayette Street in Chicago, was arrested around 5:10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, and charged with retail theft. Police said he and another woman fled Super Kmart on Harlem Avenue after stealing four bottles of liquor from the store.
Kelly K. Benson, 45, of the 7300 block of West 61st Street in Summit, was arrested around 10:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 27, on a warrant out of the Tinley Park Police Department for driving with a suspended license.
