"I walked up to the driver's side of the vehicle and observed the driver … looking straight ahead and still holding onto the steering wheel," according to the report. "I knocked on the (window) and motioned to Michael to roll his window down."

According to the report, Dobson flashed the officer a smile as he opened the window and when asked why he didn't stop for the emergency lights, he said, "Hi, how are you?"

After reportedly failing field sobriety tests, the officer brought him to the Tinley Park Police Department. There, he was not breathing properly into the breathalyzer, resulting in an insufficient sample, police said.

While he was standing in front of the machine trying to give his first sample, he began urinating on himself, according to the report.

"Michael stated to me, 'I am sorry. I just had to go,'" the report said. " … I asked Michael why he did not ask to be taken to the bathroom and he stated, 'Hey, it's human nature, sorry about all of this.'"

After he bonded out, police gave Dobson a ride to the Hampton Inn where he was staying, the report said.
