Police Report Suspicious Men Wearing Obama Masks in Parked Car
Two men wearing masks that looked like the president were parked in front of a Little Caesars for more than 20 minutes.
Workers at a Tinley Park Little Caesars Pizza, 16022 Harlem Ave., called police to deal with two men who were wearing President Obama masks while parked in a car outside their closed store for about 20 minutes, according to reports.
Employees had seen a white Mitsubishi Lancer pull up at about 11:20 p.m. Thursday and signaled to its occupants that the restaurant was closed, police said. They could only see the men's torsos at this time, police said.
The men shut off the car's lights, but remained in the lot. About 20 minutes later, a female employee asked another woman to watch to make sure she got to her car safely, police said. That's when the second employee noticed the two men in the car were wearing Obama masks and were "doing some kind of handshake or hand gestures," according to police reports.
The second employee then called the police, remembering hearing that Little Caesars locations in Chicago and Indiana recently had been robbed, according to reports. At this point, police said the men drove off.
