'The Worst Person In the World' Calls For TeaCon Organizer To Step Down After Sex Scandal

TeaCon 2011 organizer Steve Stevlic's arch rival calls for fellow patriots to denounce him after sex arrest.

Chicago Tea Party Patriot organizer Catherina Wojtowicz denied being the “Chicago-area rival” that tipped off Gawker.com about TeaCon 2011 organizer Steve Stevlic’s prostitution solicitation arrest.

The sordid details of Wojtowicz and Stevlic's bitter feud and the splintering of Chicago's Tea Party movement have been burning up Chicago's conservative blogosphere for years. Wojtowicz claims that she and several members broke off from Stevlic's group to form their own Tea Party faction on Chicago's Southwest Side — the Chicago Tea Party Patriots.

Wojtowicz told Patch her phone has been going off all day with media calls confusing her faction — which she says is “Chicago’s true Tea Party” — with Stevlic’s group.

Wojtowicz is not without her own public relations baggage.

In 2009, she shut down a town hall meeting on health care reform hosted by Congressman Dan Lipinski (D-IL) in Oak Lawn, IL. Former MSNBC anchor Keith Obermann named Wojtowicz "Worst Person in the World" after her group heckled a woman who spoke out at the town hall about her daughter-in-law and unborn grandchild dying of septic shock because her daughter-in-law didn't have health care insurance.

Wojtowicz called the woman and her husband political operatives who went from "event to event and (cry) the same story."

She also claimed last December that someone tried to firebomb the Tea Party Patriots' Christmas party at a South Side Chicago cop bar.

Originally she wasn't planning on going to TeaCon 2011 because of the $258 ticket price, but after news of Stevlic's sex scandal broke, she was racing from Mt. Greenwood on Chicago's Southwest Side to the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center where she planned to stage a press conference on Saturday afternoon.

“Let me make this very clear: There is no relationship between the two groups whatsoever,” Wojtowicz said in a press statement.

She further stated that, “Mr. Stevlic was removed from our Tea Party two years ago for inappropriate behavior towards a female Tea Party member. We never worked with him or his group and never will.”

In her rambling press statement, she also demanded that fellow conservatives "disavow" him because "prostitution is is very inhuman and humiliating."

Stevlic was a no-show at Saturday's TeaCon events, but he did issue a press statement.

A few days before the Gawker story broke, learning that Patch had spoken to his archrival Wojtowicz, Stevlic asked to know specifically what she said about him because “I’m going to speak to my lawyer about slander.”

Why would The Patch refer to ANY member of the TeaKluxers as "patriots"?

The flippant, disrespectful use of that word is part of the reason why no one with an education beyond the 8th grade would consider joining this band of morons.

calling the tea partiers teacluxers is as bad as what you accuse them of. Remember George Bush hanging in effigy was considered patriotic protest. November 2010 will pale in comparison to November 2012.

Well Mr. Steen since all you can do is call the Tea Party Patriots derogatory names it leads the rest of us to believe you have no ammunition to disagree with these great Americans on the issues.

Tea Party:

Membership and demographics

Several polls have been conducted on the demographics of the movement. Though the various polls sometimes turn up slightly different results, they tend to show that Tea Party supporters are mainly white and slightly more likely to be male, married, older than 45, more conservative than the general population, and likely to be more wealthy and have more education.[76][77][78][79][80]

A Gallup poll conducted in March 2010 found that -- other than gender, income and politics -- self-described Tea Party members were demographically similar to the population as a whole.[81]

Im single, white, 32, born and raised in Oak Lawn, a former local promoter of live music, have a good heart, and unlike most, paid for my education ( ha what that did)
so add that to your demographic , pal. I also worked for the CHA ( Chicago Housing Authority) and have many friends of color and ethnicity, as well as religion. We all agree that this county needs a reset back to the founders, so.... what do you have to say, pal?

Well, this just goes to show that anybody who thrives on anger & hatespeak, is complete myopic when considering an issue and thinks FOX is News rather than simply Entertainment, can become part of a political movement. Sad but true.

what about the hundreds of people who are being arrested for protesting capitalism? They are perfectly harmless, right? Tea partiers are not violent. Please stop hating.

The banks cripple the economy, steal hundreds of thousands of people's homes through fraud, lie, cheat and steal on a daily basis, and continue to pay billions in bonuses to the top players of the rigged game while firing all their support staff.

If protesting their actions is protesting capitalism, then fine - let's protest capitalism. You really may want to think twice about that losing message - NO ONE outside the tea party and elected GOP officials likes Wall St.

Chris - The majority of homes that have been foreclosed on were done so because of the people that purchased those homes when they should not have. The banks did not steal those homes. The banks lost BILLIONS of dollars on those mortgages and the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION BAILED THEM OUT!

History will show that the tea party influenced easily manipulated people to vote against their own best interests. Their lies, repeated over and over and over and amplified by fox "news" will be seen for what they are, though sadly a generation from now. My anger and fury with the corporate media for allowing this to happen knows no bounds. Now the tea party is going after voting rights in order to preserve their power. Shameful and unAmerican. They are horrible people and an embarrassment to my beloved country.

I like this comment. I believe the true tea party was kinda hijacked by the rinos and fox... but how do you really feel? Ive been to many a tea party and It isnt racist, homophobe, hillbilly ( as many try to claim) , nor is it hate filled. Try going to one, maybe youll find something you like.

History will show that Obama influenced easily manipulated people to vote against their own best interest. 95% of blacks voted for Obama. Some whites voted for Obama to prove to themselves that they weren't racist. Many people voted for Obama because he's a good speaker (as long as he has his tel-promters). Obama supporters aren't horrible people, but they are an embarrassment to the country.

I wondered how long it would take before Arrinanna Huffington(extreme left) would have some comments to make here. If you don't know who she is, go to www.huffingtonpost.com and read about her. Mr Seawall, since you are the editor of the Patch, you must support her views. It is too bad, the Patch has taken this path. I really enjoyed reading Patch.

VOTE TEA PARTY.... AND YOU CAN WORK UNTILL YOUR 70 BEFORE YOU WILL BE ELIGABLE FOR S.S. AND MEDICARE BENEFITS. QUESTIONS IS WHO WILL WANT YOU TO WORK FOR THEM? SOMEONE WHO NEEDS EMPLOYEES WHO USE THE BATHROOM MORE THAN THE EMPLOYEES HALF THEIR AGE? EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE 4-5 SPECIALISTS THAT THEY SEE TO STAY HEALTHY?
HOW ABOUT EMPLOYEES WITH LGITH DUTY RESTRICTIONS BECASUE THEY ARE IN THEIR 60'S.

SHOW ME A TEA PARTY CANDIDATE WHO DOES NOT WANT TO RAISE S.S. RETIREMENT AND I'LL SHOW YOU A LIAR.

Mr Dykstra I am assuming that you were brought up in a Christian Reformed Faith. That faith believes that there is only on true God and that all other Christian religions are doomed to hell, for we are not true believers.

IDK where all your random thoughts come form, but I do have to ask the question before you attend Sunday service with all the other conservative Dutch reformed members:

What are you doing bloggiing at 2:07, 2:08, and 3:38 AM? How much did you have to drink before you wrote your rebutal? No one Dutch in my extended family is ever up that late at night. If they are; they were up to no good...according to their minister. Will your conservative Dutch reformed friends and family shake your hand and applaud you for putting a provocateur piece of scum like me in my place? Not if you were drunk.

Be a card carrying Tea Party member. I applaud you for not working for any establishment. You must tell us all how a Republican can do that and distance themselves from corporate America. The same corporate America that passed bad loans, crashed an entire world market, bankrupted themselves under the Bush administration and waited for a Democrat to seek out a bailout plan.

If it did not happen in that time frame you can expail it to us in a civil tone...but you cant; can you? Republicans administration let this mess happen and it will not go away in 4 years. Yes I'm pissed about it, your finger pointing is reminding me that 4 fingers are pointing back at you.

I FILED A POLICE REPORT ON CATHERINA FOR HARASSMENT AND SO DID 7 OTHER PEOPLE... IN DUPAGE AND WILL COUNTIES. SHE IS ALSO UNDER INVESTIGATION FOR ARSON AFTER BURNING A BAR DOWN WHEN THE OWNER TOLD HER TO STOP COMING IN. CATHERINA HAS THREATENED AND BULLIED MANY PEOPLE ONLINE AND IN PERSON TO THE POINT WHERE POLICE INVESTIGATORS ARE CHARGING HER WITH HARASSMENT AGAIN AND POSSIBLE ARSON. SHE IS A FELON AND IS VERY DANGEROUS. MY WIFE CALLED THE POLICE AFTER DISCOVERING THESE HORRIBLE THREATS WHILE LEARNING SHE TRIED TO HURT OUR SON.
