Hundreds lined up along Oak Park Avenue over the weekend to honor Gunner's Mate 1st Class Petty Officer. Jeanette Tarqueno. She was injured on Dec. 4,2011 while serving our country in the Persian Gulf.

Around dusk on Saturday, Oak Park Avenue was peppered with patriotic colors and hundreds of American flags.
Jeannette Tarqueno, a U.S. Navy veteran who was injured last year while serving in the Persian Gulf was greeted in style on her way to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2791 in Tinley Park.
A benefit intended to help her recover from a traumatic brain injury was held there.
