The Alpha Med Center will be hosting an open house Saturday, June 18 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The 50,000 square foot medical complex, located at 17333 S. LaGrange Road, Tinley Park, was established to provide excellence in patient care with state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

The Alpha Med Physicians Group, located in the center, offers the latest in radiation therapy and medical oncology services. Palos Diagnostic Center offers diagnostic radiology services, including X-rays, PET/CT and MRI services and laboratory services. Plans are underway to develop a breast care and women’s center, other cancer-related services and medical offices. The complex also has a conference center that will be available to the community and the physicians for meetings and seminars.

The Alpha Med Physician Enterprises, LLC is the owner of the center and Dr. S. Javed Shirazi, M.D. is the manager. The center was designed and built by PDC Midwest. Irgens Health Care Facilities Group was the management consultant for the project. The construction and permanent financing for this $20 million project was provided by Citibank.

The public is invited to tour this beautiful, prairie-style medical complex, meet with physicians and learn more about the medical services available.
