Free Flu Shots for Uninsured Kids at Orland Township
Need a flu shot? Orland Township can help.
To prevent the spread of the flu virus within the community, Orland Township is offering flu shots to residents from Sept. 23 through Oct 28. Vaccines for residents between 19 and 65 are available for $20. Uninsured or Medicaid-eligible children under 18 receive the shot for free. Proof of residency is required. Find out more details.
Residents over the age of 65 with Medicare Part B are eligible to receive the immunization free of charge. A Medicare Part B card must be presented at the time of vaccination. Those with an HMO/Medicare plan are not eligible for a free vaccination and should visit their primary care physician.
Children 18 years of age and younger who are either Medicaid eligible (includes All Kids recipients), Native American (American Indian, Alaskan Native ) or uninsured may receive a vaccination free of charge. Orland Township's office is located at 14807 S. Ravinia Avenue, Orland Park.
