Last Round of Naval Drills Set for Wednesday

For the past two weeks, the U.S. Navy has been using the closed grounds of the Tinley Park Mental Health Center to run training exercises during the day and night. The final of four sessions will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Wednesday, July 24. Check the blog by village's Emergency Management Agency director, Pat Carr, for updates on this final training exercise.

Concerts In The Park
: The Tinley Park-Park District's concert series continues with Scribble Monster. The show is at 7 p.m. at the eastside Concert Shell of the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center.

FRIDAY, JULY 26
Family Pajamarama: Kids 3 to 8 years old and their parents can participate in an evening of stories, crafts and games, dressed in their PJs. The event is from 7 to 7:45 p.m. at the Tinley Park Public Library. Find out more details.

SATURDAY, JULY 27
Farmers Market: The seasonal event runs from 7 a.m. to noon at Zabrocki Plaza downtown. Check out photos of the market earlier this summer.
