Village Board Holds Public Hearing for Proposed Dog Park


The Village Board will be holding a public hearing concerning an amendment to the Radcliffe Place Annexation Agreement that will allow for a dog park in the southwest corner of the subdivision. The hearing is before the board's 8 p.m. meeting at Village Hall. Other agenda items include approving two deputy police chief positions, as well as other new village government hires. Go to the village's website for the full agenda.

What Else to Watch for Tuesday


  • High Schools Begin Classes for 2013-14: Tinley Park and Lincoln-Way North high schools start classes. Freshmen and transfer students, however, began Monday, Aug. 19, for Tinley Park High School.   • Cruise Night: The village's summer classic car tradition continues from 5 to 9 p.m. along Oak Park Avenue in downtown Tinley Park.
