Tinley Park to Honor Veterans at Rea Plaza
The Village of Tinley Park will pay tribute to local veterans during a ceremony Monday morning.
The Village of Tinley Park will honor its veterans during a short ceremony Nov. 11, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Patrick E. Rea Veteran's Plaza, 18001 80th Ave.
The program, sponsored by the Village of Tinley Park and the Tinley Park Veterans Commission, will include patriotic music by the Central Junior High band, short speeches and a gun salute. There will also be a presentation of the annual Col. David Seaman volunteer veterans recognition award.
