9 Million Dollar Renovation Complete

Orland Hills resident Dale Obrochta is entertaining Aja Harris, Branch Financial Sales Consultant at PNC Bank, as they tour The Chicago Hilton Garden Inn's nine million dollar renovation.  Hilton Garden Inn, located at 10 E. Grand Avenue, Chicago, held a special luncheon tour for clients in the hospitality industry, to show off their new business facility. The recent upgrades to the hotel has made it a perfect venue for business meetings.

Guest checking into the luncheon were greeted with a living garden statue located at the newly renovated lobby and received a goodie bag from the Weber Grill as a welcome.

Putting a special twist on the afternoon was Dale Obrochta, a promotional balloon entertainer who not only entertained guests with unique balloon creations, but educated them on what the facility now offers to the business community. "Dale had me laughing so hard my sides were hurting," said Harris.

"I have arranged for business colleagues and family to stay at the facility and all of their experiences have been enjoyable," says Jim Perkins, Vice President of Papa Murphy's.   Scattered along the tour route were food stations allowing clients to sample food and drinks.  "The Taco station is excellent," says Veronica North, Director of Marketing & Enrollment at Lexington College.

The Inn's renovation includes all guest rooms and suites, which were updated with new platform beds, bedding, furniture, redesigned bathrooms and vanities, carpet, draperies and lighting.  Each guest room offers a new mini-fridge, microwave, and in-room safe.  The renovation expanded the hotel’s inventory as well, with four additional guest rooms located on the hotel’s twelfth floor.

The newly re-designed lobby incorporates the Inn's 'Grow Concept’, providing open workspace / lounge areas perfect for impromptu meetings or social gatherings.  New bar-height counter seating includes convenient and accessible power outlets, making it easier for patrons to work, as well as check flight status' leaving from O'Hare and Midway Airport.

All in all, an enjoyable hotel experience awaits you, whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, at the Hilton Garden Inn!
