Highly Anticipated Annual Connect14 Conference Boasts Inspiring Speakers, Fun Family Events and Moving Worship, July 17-20

TINLEY PARK, ILL. June 12, 2014 The much-anticipated, annual Connect14 Conference will take place July 17-20 at FHC in Tinley Park. Connect14 is a week-long event slated to bring together the community with music, parties, a robust roster of renowned speakers, and dynamic worship. Special sessions will be offered to appeal to children and youth, men, women and families. The conference is free of charge and is open to the public, but registration is required.

The Connect14 Conference is designed to bring people together to worship God and allow individuals to grow as a person. Participants can expect a lot of fun and high-energy learning, guest speakers each day, activities for youth and kids and ladies, and an annual golf tournament on Monday, July 14, to raise funds for RTM Missions.

The Connect14 week is jam-packed with events for the whole family. Teens will launch Connect14 with Unashamed on Sunday, July 13, an artistic story-telling of men and women who remained committed to the cross, despite persecution. Teens will enjoy live music, acting and videos. On Monday, July 14, gentlemen will raise money for missions and enjoy fellowship with the annual RTM Golf Classic at Ruffled Feathers in Lemont. The next day, Tuesday, July 15, Bella will host a special dinner for women only called “Be the Change”, in which women will gather together for a special night with author and speaker Jenny Kutz, granddaughter of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland. Change collected at the event will go to the nonprofit organization Safe Families.  Kids aged from kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to participate in “International Spy Academy” Vacation Bible School from July 17-20. This exciting VBS will be filled with fun mysteries and Bible-based stories to capture children’s hearts and imagination as they become special agents for God.

Pastor Robb and his wife, Linda Thompson, express that the Connect14 Conference exists for three reasons:  for participants to connect with God, connect with others, and connect with God’s plan for their lives. “There is much to be done for the advancement of God’s Kingdom, and he has privileged us to play a part. We believe you will discover what role God would have you play,” said Thompson.

In the midst of refreshing worship and empowering teaching, the Connect14 conference will offer encouragement so participants can experience God in a real way.
