Readers have been asking about a helicopter flying overhead around the area of Fulton School and Vogt Woods.
I spoke with the Tinley Park police, and they are searching for an individual, but the situation is not a threat to the public.

UPDATE (9:42 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25): Community Editor Nick Swedberg reports that police searching streets near the woods could not comment about the situation at this time.
UPDATE (9:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25): According to Frankfort Fire Department Incidents Facebook page, unconfirmed reports from the police scanner indicated that a traffic stop led to a person running from police. The page is reporting that two people were apprehended by police, according to unconfirmed scanner reports.
