Rover Rescue Dog of the Week

Have you watched the movie RED with the all-star cast??  RED stands for Retired and Extremely Dangerous.  Well, my name is RED, but for an entirely different reason.   My name stands for Radiant, Energetic Darling.  Yep, that’s me, RED.  It does not hurt that the color of my coat is RED also.  I am an adorable 1 year old Labrador Retriever Mix who weighs 36 pounds.  I have the cutest tail that will curl up on my back.  I am a happy –go- lucky boy.  Do you like to play?  I am an all-star playmate!  You name it; tug, fetch, RED Rover, and I am all over it!  When you tire, I will gladly play with any canine members of your house.  I am not sure about those feline creatures since I do not have one of those at my foster home.  But if they like to play, I will gladly indulge them.  If the resident dog gets exhausted, I will gladly entertain a neighborhood fur buddy.  Did I say I liked to play?  I would love to have an active family that likes to go for walks/runs, visit the local dog parks and romp in a fenced in yard.  My foster mom thinks that I still have a good deal of puppy in me.  But I am a grown up when it comes to my stellar house training skills.  I know to go outside to do my dirty business so I don’t have my foster family seeing RED.  I am also crate trained.  I am a smart boy.  I have recently learned to sit on command and I am working on my leash skills.  I am willing to learn whatever you would like to teach me.   I have been told that I am a fast runner.  Ever think about agility?  I may be your guy!  I may like to play, but I am also a sweetheart and cuddly partner.  If you are thinking about adding some RED to your Valentine’s Day, look no further!  I would love to be in my furever home with you.  Call Teri today at 630-897-7454 so you can Be Mine.  The adoption fee for RED is $200.
