Suburban Youth Symphony has a season of weekly Sunday rehearsals beginning September 15 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm and three concerts yearly: Christmas, Chamber concert, and Spring concert in April. Students also perform at a preshow for the Illinois Philharmonic and have master class group coaching.

For students who want to learn, each year the Suburban Youth Symphony orchestra has an Incredible Opportunity Program.

These students receive weekly group instruction, orchestra ensemble experience, and a rental violin for the low total cost of $25 per month. Rehearsals for the group are held on Sundays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm beginning September 12 through April.
