Tinley Park HS Celebrates Foreign Language Week

Tinley Park High School celebrated Foreign Language Week by having hallway trivia with different famous polyglots (people who have mastered multiple languages) and decorative posters. French classes celebrated Mardi Gras by trying student made French Cajun and Creole food.  They learned about the French Canadian influence on Mardi Gras and made crafts, including masks.  Tinley Park High School will continue its celebration of culture with the International Festival of Cultural Diversity on March 14 at 6:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 at the door.  This cost includes food sampling, a drink and the performances.  For a small additional fee, there will also be a photo booth and face painting. Tinley Park High School is unique in its diverse student population and loves to celebrate this cultural diversity with the community!  Come celebrate with your family!
