Tinley Park High School recently held its annual Honors Assembly to recognize students who do consistent, top quality work, contribute superior effort on projects or assignments, or show improvement in work ethic, attitudes, or academics. Students were nominated by their teachers and awarded a certificate at the all school assembly. Over one hundred students were honored in this year’s winter assembly. In addition, four students of the month were recognized. These students were Tyler Biederman for September, Kaizha King for October, Spencer Rolette for November, and Ellis Moore for December. Following the academic awards, Athletic Director Mr. Mike Mongan introduced the All-Conference Athletes from the Spring and Fall 2013 seasons. Members of the Spring 2013 Softball Team presented Principal Dr. Theresa Nolan with their 3rd Place State Trophy. The assembly ended with an outstanding performance by the Jazz Band.
