Tinley Park HS Preschool Program Enrollment Open

Would you like your preschool aged child to have some extra socialization?  Could you use an hour or so to get some errands run without your little kids in tow?  The Tinley Park High School Childcare Classes will be hosting preschool starting February 4. Preschool will be held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:05 until 10:50 a.m., with classes concluding April 17.  The class is run by a certified Child Care Teacher, and each preschooler is also paired with a high school student who will teach them lessons, read to them, create wonderful crafts, and assist them with fun and games.  The program provides planned lessons that foster physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.  Healthy snacks are also served.  One parent whose child was in the program last year remarked, “This was a fabulous way for my three year old daughter to learn how to interact with other kids her age without me there to hold her hand the whole time.  She became much more comfortable approaching other children and her confidence increased greatly because of the program.  I highly recommend this preschool to anyone in the area.”  The cost for all 10 weeks is only $75.  To register, call the school at (708)532-1900 extension 3382, or e-mail Maggie O’Connor at moconnor@bhsd228.com.  Spots are limited and fill up quickly.
