Tinley Park HS Students Participate in Village of Tinley Park's Youth in Government

On November 19, Tinley Park High School students participated in the Youth in Government presentations for the Village of Tinley Park.  Each student is paired with a member of the village government to shadow them to find out how their jobs help make Tinley Park a great community to live.  Participating in the program this year were Sophomores Julia Beck, Pat Nolan and Justin Coyle, Junior Rebecca Barker, and Seniors Jessica Baker, Ismael Dominguez, Alexis Hooker and Rachel Niedzwiecki.  The participants did an outstanding job showing how Tinley Park students can be witty while maintaining class in a formal presentation.  They all did a great job in making Tinley Park High School look AWESOME!

Because of their outstanding effort, the village agreed to follow up on a resolution the students suggested, and they will be fixing the “Welcome to Tinley Park” sign on 175th Street.
