WELDING OPEN HOUSE COMING TO SOUTH SUBURBAN COLLEGE

SOUTH HOLLAND, IL– South Suburban College (SSC) is hosting a Ribbon Cutting and Open House for their new Welding Lab on Tuesday, January 28th from 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in Room L-275 on their Main Campus in South Holland. 

The public is invited to join SSC for light refreshments and learn more about the exciting new welding opportunities, and see the lab with eight state-of-the-art welding stations and welding simulator.  College faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about welding classes and related programs.

•        3:00 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting

•        3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. – Open House

South Suburban College was one of seventeen recipients of the first round of TAA funding from the Department of Labor through the Illinois Green Economy Network. This grant funded the new lab and welding simulator.
