Wine Fundraiser Contest Winner Receives Plaque

Sunny Sherard (left), Manager of Granite City Food and Beverage of Orland Park, accepts her plaque for winning the ‘Red Wine’ Pairing from Colleen Kisel, in a wine pairing contest for Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest held on May 24 at the Orland Park Civic Center. The event was sponsored by The Rotary Club of Oak Forest, Holistic Happenings in Tinley Park, and Rago & Associates in New Lenox. Local artists donated part of their art sales from the silent auction art exhibition, and helped bring in $1825 for the Treasure Chest, founded by Colleen to help provide toys and gifts to children with cancer in area hospitals.
