3 Community Action Items from the Bella Team of Family Harvest Church

The Bella women of Family Harvest Church in Tinley Park have been active with their new found super power of love. Check out where and what they've been doing around town.

What a week after finishing our amazing Bella Superchick 2013 conference. It's one thing to attend a conference, it's another to discover your super power and begin to activate it instantly.

Check out what happened this week in our community with some of our super women from Family Harvest Church.

Thursday, May 2nd we received word that Orland Park Fire Department was having a fundraiser at 94 West restaurant in Orland Park. We found out day of and noticed they were in need of perishable food items. They were also partnering with three great foundations: Kids Fire and Life Safety Camp, the Community CARE Program, and the Residential Knox Box Program.

We didn't have much time but my wife Chantelle, was able to drop off a big bag of non-perishable food items. The best part was being able to take a photo of one of the best fire departments in the world, Orland Park Fire. (See image attached)

Next on the list was finalizing delivery of our non perishable food items collected at our Bella Super Chick conference. The Frankfort food pantry was in dire need of items and we re-stocked them to a 'whole nutha level.

The overflow of women discovering their super power of love has been transforming. Check out the images from our drop off. We call it 'Love Wins'.

And finally, Linda Thompson, lead women's pastor at Family Harvest Church led a group of women from Bella to the first-ever Run for Your Life Safety 5K Run/Walk in Tinley Park on Sunday, May 5th. The event earned about $10,000 for I Am Me, a nonprofit camp for young burn victims. "The ladies of Family Harvest have been so excited and determined to love more, it's been contagious and so uplifting," said Linda after completing the race.
