Classic Cars Are 'Licensed to Park' on Oak Park Avenue

There is more at Tinley Cruise Nights than killer engines and a lively downtown scene.

Starting at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, downtown looks a little different.

If you meander down Oak Park Avenue, you'll see rows of classic whips of all makes and models. Co-sponsored by the and , the evening draws oglers from all walks of life—Moms pushing their children's strollers, couples strolling hand in hand and gear heads admiring engines.

It features cars with tricked out interiors, custom paint jobs, exterior engines ... Oh, and license plates that are sure to grab your attention.
