Discover Tinley Expo Set for April 5 at Convention Center

Admission is free for the event, which features dancers, magic, live entertainment and more.

The spotlight will fall on Tinley Park this Saturday, as the annual Discover Tinley Community Awareness Expo takes over the Tinley Park Convention Center. 

The expo will feature more than 150 booths representing Tinley Park businesses, nonprofits, and government services. Admission is free for the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Visitors will sample food, enjoy giveaways and live entertainment, including a show from Mr. D's Magic. Guests can also enjoy face painting, a model train display, a performance by TnT Extreme Dance and a martial arts demonstration.

The Illinois Fallen Heroes Traveling Memorial Wall, which honors those who lost their lives in Afghanistan and Iraq, will be on display.
