Hop to It! Easter Bunny Coming to Oak Park Avenue Sunday

Gather up the kids and head to downtown Tinley Sunday for an Easter egg hunt and more fun.

The second annual Downtown Tinley Bunny Hop will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. Most activities will be outdoors on 67th Court just south of the Oak Park Avenue Metra train station. Activities will include DJ entertainment, games, $1 cookie decorating and a visit from some adoptable dogs from P.A.W.S. of Tinley Park.

The American Legion will host a Spring Craft Fair at its facility, and admission is free. Crafts and vintage photos will be located at the Tinley Park Historical Society, and the Vogt Visual Arts Center will host the Easter Bunny in its gazebo. Come prepared with your camera or camera phone to get a picture with the Easter Bunny!

Because this is a free event, there will not be a typical egg hunt. Kids will have a chance to find eggs at different activities as they hop through the event. Participants who wear an Easter bonnet or hat will receive a special prize from Odyssey Fun World. Eggs and prizes will be available only while supplies last.
