Know Where to Buy an $8K Wedding Gown for $75? Together We Cope Does
The Tinley Park-based nonprofit agency will be selling 700 sample bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses donated from Eva's Bridal for prices as low as $50. Find out when the sale is and get an exclusive sneak peek at some of the gowns.
Thanks to a donation from Eva's Bridal of Illinois, Together We Cope in Tinley Park will be selling 700 sample wedding gowns and dresses at a deep discount from July 13 to 14.
Bridal gowns will be priced at $75, and bridesmaids dresses will go for $50. The dresses come in a variety of styles and sizes, and some normally are priced as high as $6,500 when sold by retailers, said Marge Seltzner, Together We Cope's communications manager.

The belle of the ball, though, is an $8,000 Vera Wang bridal gown, she said, adding that it's only drawback is an easily fixed broken zipper.
This is the second time Together We Cope, a nonprofit agency that helps families in temporary crisis, has held a wedding gown sale thanks to a donation from Eva's Bridal, which as south suburban locations in Oak Lawn and Orland Park. Proceeds from the sale will benefit clients of the agency.
