Lost Dog: Have You Seen this Siberian Husky?

The dog went missing Friday, April 4, and her family is frantically searching for her.

Suiku is a lost, female Siberian Husky, who escaped from her home at 1st Court and Schoolhouse Road  in Mokena Friday, April 4.

She is black and white, with a small patch of white on the back of her neck where her collar would be.

"If anyone has any information or has seen her in the past couple of days please let us know!" wrote her owners in a note to Patch. "We are praying for a safe return."

Suiku is one and a half years old and weighs about 50 pounds. She is very friendly and was wearing an aqua/blue collar with tags.

If you've seen Suiku, call 708-479-6269. You also can e-mail Luann at seilers@ameritech.net. Although Suiku is friendly, approach the dog with care. She’s not in her normal environment and could scare easily.

Thanks for the suggestion! She is already on that page :) Someone said they thought they saw a dog that looked just like her around the barn/ forest preserve on Laport Road, so everyone keep your eyes peeled please!

Sometimes it helps to leave a piece of clothing (smells like you), some water, and her kennel (if she likes it) near where she was spotted to help attract her to a "safe" place. Good luck!
