Parading Around Town

Here at Patch, we make an effort to be out and about as much as possible.

That includes going to local shindigs like festivals, concerts and in Saturday's case, a parade.

Although the event wasn't held in Tinley, I thought it appropriate to support our neighboring Patch site in Orland Park which is headed up by Ben Feldheim. I also ran into several residents at the Orland Days soiree.

The sun was hot, the parade goers were sweaty and the kids were eager for fistfuls of candy. A pretty standard parade, overall. But since the pace of the walk was fairly slow, watchers had the chance to ask us questions — mostly "What is Patch?"— that we were very excited to answer. 

Doing things like this helps us to get the word out about what we do here. We are members of your community.
