Park District Fitness Center Opens in New Home Nov. 11
The park district's fitness center will shift operations to its new location at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center Nov. 11.
After months of waiting, Tinley Park-Park District members will be able to enjoy a 29,000-square-foot addition to the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center.
The Park District will officially begin operating its fitness center out of the new facility on Monday, Nov. 11. The new facility is attached to the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center at 8125 W. 171st Street in Tinley Park.

Once operations begin at the new center on Nov. 11, hours of the Recreation Center and Tinley Fitness will change so both buildings share operating hours.
New hours for both Tinley Fitness and the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center will be:

- Monday-Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
- Saturday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Sunday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Information on membership rates is now available. Group fitness class schedules along with additional information will be available before the Grand Opening on Saturday, November 16. The Grand Opening is an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new location, where guided tours, giveaways, and additional information will be available to the public.
