Sharpen Up Your Pup's Skills with Park District's Obedience Classes

Registration your dog in Tinley Park-Park District dog obedience program. Classes start Feb. 26.

You can teach an old dog new tricks—and the Tinley Park Park District is offering classes to do just that.

Registration is now open for obedience classes for dogs of all ages, from puppies to "seasoned" pooches. Dog obedience class is for dogs age 6 months and older and meets from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., while the AKC Puppy Class is for pups 12 weeks old to 1 year old, and is held from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Both classes meet Wednesdays from Feb. 26 through April 2 at the Recreation Center. Fee is $92 Resident/$120 Non-resident, and there is a discount for families bringing a second dog from the same household.

For more information, call the Park District at (708) 342-4200.
