All of the event’s proceeds will go to I Am Me, the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance’s children's burn camp, which helps kids with significant burn injuries ages 8 to 16 build self-esteem through outdoor activities, the release stated.

“The camp gives children a chance to share their experiences with others who understand what they’re going through,” said Tinley Park Fire Chief Kenneth Dunn. “It really helps them to feel that they’re not alone. It’s also a place where they don’t have to worry about what other people might think of their scars.”
