Local veterans looking for a place to meet fellow vets, network and enjoy a free meal need look no further than the Veteran 2 Veteran event, Wednesday, Jan. 23, at the V.F.W. Bremen Post 2791.
Attendees will have a chance to work on veteran employment issues, converting military skills to the civilian workforce, as well as guidance in resume writing and interview skills. There will also be help available for education assistant, mentoring and entrepreneurship, as well.
The free event kicks off at 7 p.m. and includes pizza and beverages, with a cash bar.
