AACT UP! Arts Alive Children's Theatre Presents Mother Courage and Her Children

Considered to be the greatest play of the 20th century, this drama changed the way plays were performed and brought new concepts onto the stage. Set in the 17th century during Europe's thirty year war, Mother Courage, along with her children, Elif, Kattrin, and Swiss Cheese, deal with the devastation all around them and attempt to make a life for themselves in spite of the battles they face. This play does have some musical numbers included. Tickets are on sale at the Recreation Center or at the door. For more information please call the Park District.
