Arts Council Seeks Artists for SweetArts Event

The Tinley Park Arts Council is calling for artists for their second annual SweetArts Event on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 3-6 p.m. at American Chartered Bank, 9561 W. 171st St. in Tinley Park.

The council is seeking artists who work in glass, fiber arts, metal, clay, wood, oil, watercolor, pen and ink, acrylic and more. This is a juried fine art show, with space very limited. Space is free, with a 15 percent commission payable to the council for any work sold at the event.

Artists are requested to e-mail pdfs of their work to info@tinleyparkartscouncil.org by Dec. 31. Participating artists will be notified of their selection by Jan. 15. For more information, email or call 708-614-9766.
