Grab & Go Kids Planner: Princess Parties and Pet Adopt-A-Thons For Your Kids

Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, Saturday 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Why go: Kids aged 3 to 5 can spend a morning playing princess games and listening to princess stories. A snack will be provided.

Where/When:
Petsmart, Friday from noon to 9 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Why go: More than 15 different animal rescue groups and area shelters are joining forces with the goal of adopting out more than 200 pets in one weekend.

Why go: Drink Green River and watch the nature center turn the waterfall green at noon and again at 4 p.m. in honor of St. Pat's. Come on time as the color will only last 15 minutes each time.
