Stacie Juris Named 2nd Runner-Up in 2013 Miss USA Pageant (Updated)

The Tinley Park native made a strong run through the pageant's final competition Sunday. Find out what fans are saying about her showing and congratulate her in the comments section.

UPDATED (9:58 p.m. Sunday, June 16): Stacie Juris is named second runner-up in the 2013 Miss USA pageant. Miss Connecticut, Erin Brady, named Miss USA 2013.

UPDATED (9:40 p.m. Sunday, June 16):
Stacie Juris makes it to the top 10 round, becoming one of the finalists in the Miss USA pageant.

Stacie Juris can relate to the Chicago Blackhawks. And not just because she posted a photo online of her wearing a team jersey—and only a jersey—last week to show her support.

Like the Blackhawks, Juris will have a Game 7 moment as the Tinley Park native and Miss Illinois USA contestant competes Sunday, June 16, in the final night of the Miss USA pageant at the Las Vegas Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

If she takes home the crown, then she competes in her own Stanley Cup Final, the Miss Universe competition.

Need to take a quick class in Stacie Juris 101 before tuning in to Sunday's pageant, which will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on NBC (WMAQ-TV, Channel 5, in the Chicago area)? Here's what you need to know about your Miss Illinois USA 2013.

What's With Wearing the Blackhawks Jersey With No Pants? Juris and Miss Massachusetts, Sarah Kidd, were showing their support for their hometown hockey teams—as well as the pageant's corporate synergy with the NHL. No word on why the contestants were forbidden from wearing pants, skirts, kilts, sarongs or a fashionable towel for the promotional photo shoot.
