Last Chance for 'Hot Wheels Classic'

The Tinley Park Park District is holding its 'Hot Wheels Classic,' Friday, Feb. 15, at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center. The event is for children ages 2 to 8 years old.

For Tinley Park children feeling the need for speed, the Tinley Park Park District is ready to drop the green flag on the 'Hot Wheels Classic'. The event, which takes place Friday, Feb. 15, is for children ages 2-8 years old. Children ages 2 to 3 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The event will be held at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st Street.

There will be three separate sessions during the event, which runs from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Attendees must bring their own Hot Wheels or Matchbox car(s) to the event. Attendees compete for the “big prize,” and enjoy refreshments during the event.
