Photo Gallery: Tinley Beats the Heat With a Caribbean Block Party

Tinley Park shut down Oak Park Avenue Sunday for a village-wide soiree.

The scorching sun didn't stop thousands from filling the streets of Sunday for its .

Tinley's own Taste of Chicago included more than 50 local booths along Oak Park Avenue near 173rd Street. A ring featured wrestling matches put on by Purely Obsessed Wrestling World, or POWW, the Oak Park Avenue Metra lot became a car show and two stages featured live music. To top it off, NHL Hockey legend Bobby Hull was on hand to sign autographs.
