Vogt Visual Arts Center Opens Annual Photography Exhibit: Viewfinder

Vogt Visual Arts Center held a gallery opening for the 2011 Annual Photography Exhibit Friday night, March 4, 2011

Fifteen plus photographers came out for the opening of the photography exhibit at the over the weekend. The exhibit showcases many photographs by local artists. Prints consisted of primarily of nature and wildlife scenes, with several artistic shoots.

Director opened the exhibit to any who wished to submit work in hopes to get the locals involved and appreciate art. Many of the photographers with work on display are from several meet-up groups that hold competitions and go on shoots together. Their most recent trip was up in Michigan several days after the 2011 blizzard to photograph the famed lighthouse, most of those shoots can be seen at the exhibit.

The exhibit will be up through March.
