Amazing Smiles Hosting Annual Halloween Candy Exchange

Amazing Smiles Family Dental Care is conducting its annual Halloween Candy Exchange again this year.

Because consumption of candy, soft drinks and other sugary snacks can cause cavities in teeth, Amazing Smiles invites all local children to bring their Halloween sweets in exchange for other fun and exciting treats.

Children will be able to trade their candy for a variety of gift certificates to be used at stores such as Best Buy, Toys R Us and Target.

Grand prize gift baskets will be presented to the children who bring in the most candy (by weight). There will be three age groups awarded gift baskets: 5 and under, 6 through 9, and 10 years and older.

Amazing Smiles has been doing this for the past 10 years, and every year donates the candy to charity. This year the candy is being sent to troops in Afghanistan.
