The employee will transport people who are developmentally disabled or mentally ill to and from the facility in the absence of the regular van driver. This is a split shift position  The hours include two to two and a half morning hours and the same amount of time in the evenings. Days and times will vary. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to obtain and maintain qualifications as a driver under PACE/IDOT requirements are required. Pay is $10 per hour, according to the job listing.

Work Your Way up to Manager at Menards

in is looking for eager individuals who would like to join its Manager Trainee Program. The "fast-track" program is very structured and well defined to help prepare candidates for a career in retail management. It's a comprehensive 3½-month on-the-job training program, which can actually be done at any Menards location. During the program trainees rotate through four areas within the store, gaining knowledge and exposure to develop management techniques. Upon successful completion of the four training areas of the program, combined with a willingness to relocate, an employee's first promotion will be to assistant department manager. Havoc Motorsport, 3451 Patterson Road in Joliet, is now accepting applications for full and part-time technicians on its championship pro road racing team. Established in 1974, Havoc Motorsport has provided high performance street car, race car, and rally auto parts, service, and maintenance for more than 30 years, according to the company's website. Havoc is a full-service motorsport facility capable of building, developing, maintaining, and campaigning successful racing efforts. The job may require some weekend travel, representatives said.
