Job Hunters: Who's Hiring in Tinley Park and Oak Forest? (May 1)

Attention, urban designers: The Village of Tinley Park has an opening for a full-time planner. Plus, managers are needed for First Midwest Bank's Oak Park Avenue branch and Fresenius Medical Care's Oak Forest dialysis clinic.

WANTED: Inside sales representative
Lewis Paper, Tinley Park Distribution Center: Main responsibilities will include: acquiring, retaining knowledge of, and educating customers on our many products; displaying outstanding sales and customer service skills; and quoting, researching, entering and confirming orders. Must be able and willing to help out in warehouse when needed, with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Must have experience as a customer service or inside sales rep in the paper or printing industry; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and ability and desire to sell our products. WANTED: Government planner
Village of Tinley Park: The village's Planning Department needs a full-time planner for research, analysis, graphics and other technical assistance on a variety of planning projects. is part of a team developing master plans and small area plans, as well as reviewing site plans for compliance with Village plans and ordinances. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree—a master’s degree is preferred—in urban design, landscape architecture, planning or a related field; up to a year of experience in a government or consulting environment; and must live in the village's planning area within a year of employment. Applicants also must be able to attend evening meetings and work extended. The starting annual salary is $46,592.65, plus benefits. WANTED: Clinical manager
Fresenius Medical Care (Oak Forest): The health-care provider is seeking a supervisor for its hemodialysis team at its Oak Forest clinic to hire, train and provide direction and counseling to staff members, as well as coordinate all aspects of care at the clinic. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing school; possess a current and appropriate state license; have a minimum of a year of clinical nursing experience in clinical nursing and six months of chronic or acute dialysis nursing experience; provide on-call coverage; and pass Ishihara's Color Blindness Test. First Midwest Bank (Tinley Park): The bank on Oak Park Avenue needs a manager with the following background: a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; at least three years of retail sales banking experience and at least two years of branch management experience; and extensive knowledge of retail financial products and services. SPi Healthcare (Tinley Park): The director's duties include managing business relationships with clients in the health-care industry, serving as the primary point of contact for these clients. WANTED: Live-in certified nurse assistant caregivers
BrightStar (Tinley Park and south suburbs): The home care agency has immediate openings for part- and full-time live-in caregivers who are certified nurse assistants with up-to-date certification and at least two years of experience in home care or with a health-care facility. These positions are in Tinley Park and other south suburban areas. Shifts can be 24 hours, extending from two to five days per week. Candidates must have experience with Alzheimer's disease and dementia patients; access to a vehicle, auto insurance and a current driver's license; and must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
