Job Hunters: Who's Hiring in Tinley Park and Oak Forest? (July 10)

This week includes listings from the Tinley Park Public Library, a European auto shop in Oak Forest and Kmart's Tinley Park location.

Finding a job can be a tough task. Putting together a résumé, hitting the streets looking for “Help Wanted” signs and making the best impression on potential employers can be a tall order for anyone. WANTED: Part-time maintenance assistant
Tinley Park Public Library: The position is responsible for general cleaning and maintenance of the library. Hours are evenings on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and candidates must have a thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least a year of work experience are required. The salary is $13.07 an hour, and the deadline for applications is 4 p.m. Monday, July 29. WANTED: Floating pharmacist
Kmart (Tinley Park): The retail chain is seeking a pharmacist for its Tinley Park location. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
  • current license to practice pharmacy in Illinois
  • able to adapt schedule with little, if any, notice

WANTED: Assistant admissions director
The Art Institutes (Tinley Park): The arts school needs an assistant director to recruit applicants to the Tinley Park location. Candidates should have admissions recruitment or non-durable goods sales experience. A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is strongly preferred. Rennology Motor Sport (Oak Forest): The European vehicle specialist needs technicians as part of its major expansion. Candidates must have current vehicle service and repair skills. A professional education at a recognized school or extended experience with European vehicles is preferred. Candidates also must have a driver's license and a clean driving record.
