Job Hunters: Who's Hiring in Tinley Park and Oak Forest? (June 12)
International auto parts supplier UGN is hiring for its corporate headquarters in Tinley Park. Plus, the new Irish-American restaurant Ariel's needs to hire an entire staff before it opens.

WANTED: Service support specialist
UGN (Tinley Park): The auto parts supplier has an opening for a dual client device/service support specialist. Qualified candidates must have the following:
- bachelor's degree in computer science from a four-year school or equivalent work experience
- professional technology consulting, corporate IT or outsourcing provider experience
- expert knowledge of tablets and mobile devices, as well as hardware and software configuration for PCs, tablets and mobile devices
- proficiency in Windows 7 TCP/IP, DHCP, SNMP, Exchange and Office 2007/2010. 365.
WANTED: Line cooks, servers, bartenders and other positions
Ariel's Bar and Restaurant (Tinley Park): A new Irish-American restaurant opening in late June needs to fill a variety of positions. The openings include:
- line cooks
- dishwashers
- bartenders
- hostesses
- servers
- bussers
- food runners

WANTED: Part-time driver/guards
Dunbar Armored (Tinley Park): The security company has multiple openings for someone responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of valuable cargo by armored truck. The job is for two to three days a week and includes paid training, vacation and a company-supplied uniform and firearm. Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- at least 21 years old
- have a valid driver's license and a minimum three-year driving history
a good driving record
have or be able to obtain a firearms permit - a good driving record
- have or be able to obtain a firearms permit
- pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen
- able to lift bags weighing 30 to 50 pounds between 3 to 5 feet, several dozen times daily
WANTED: Accounts payable clerk
Accountemps (Tinley Park client): The temporary employment agency needs to fill an accounts payable clerk opening for a manufacturing company in Tinley Park. The salary is $11 to $13 an hour. Candidates should have have previous accounts payable and accounts receivable experience in a manufacturing environment. They also should have experience with PeopleSoft.
