OfficeTeam (Oak Forest): The office staffing agency is looking for a receptionist for business in Oak Forest. Duties include answering a busy switchboard, managing the company's lobby area and taking care of special administrative projects. The Power Company (Tinley Park): The Chicago-area energy consultants has openings for sales representatives for its Consumer Services Program. Part-time and full-time candidates need to be professional, enthusiastic and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary is between $400 and $800 weekly depending on experience. WANTED: Facilities and fleet superintendent
Village of Tinley Park: The village needs someone to do semi-skilled, skilled, technical and administrative work in maintaining municipal street lighting, buildings and grounds, and fleet services. Candidates must have the following:
  • a bachelor’s degree in management or related field.
  • minimum of three years progressively responsible supervisory experience in public works, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • working knowledge of modern standard methods, materials, tools, vehicles, equipment and computer applications used in public works infrastructure operation, maintenance, repair, rehabilitation and replacement activities.
  • knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local rules, regulations and ordinances related to public works’ operations.
  • a valid driver’s license.
  • available for emergency response.
  • live within the planning area within a year of employment.

Village of Tinley Park: The village needs a full-time code compliance officer to work for the Building Department, performing duties related to interpreting adopted codes, related rules and regulations to reach compliance. Candidates are required to have the following:
  • a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • three to six years of experience related to inspection, law enforcement or related fields with International Code Council Certification for property maintenance or bachelor's degree from an accredited school in environmental health or a closely related field is preferred plus two years of experience mentioned above.
  • working knowledge of code enforcement principles, inspection techniques, practices and methods
  • working knowledge of applicable laws, standards and regulations.
  • a valid driver's license.
  • live within the planning area within a year of employment.

  • a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • ability to understand English and follow written and oral instructions.
  • a valid driver’s license.
  • at least a year of experience in general clerical and/or secretarial work or customer service.
