WANTED: Freedom of Information Act Coordinator
Village of Tinley Park: The Village Clerk's office is looking for someone to review and process Freedom of Information Act requests. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate and/or attended one to two years of law school. Candidates also should have knowledge of FOIA and the Open Meetings Act. Experience working in a previous FOIA role or the public sector is preferred. The job requires 20 to 25 hours a week, between 1 and 5 p.m. weekdays. Candidates must submit a cover letter detailing experience and interest, a résumé and a village employment application for consideration. Tinley Park-Park District: The district has a part-time opening for a custodian at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center. The job requires 12 to 20 hours per week between 9:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. weekdays and some weekends. The pay is $12 an hour.
